Our school caters for children aged 5-18 years. It is a small, rural, independent Special School. Two teachers plus two assistants work with up to 12 children, implementing individual program plans.

Students usually have placement for one school term, in a program that focuses on skills for life, including communication, social skills, independence, leisure, recreation and relaxation.

Mansfield Autistic Centre Services are based on the belief that the family are the most important teachers, and we aim to give them the understanding, confidence and determination necessary for the successful handling of their child.
